This house was my favorite view on the way to church when I was a kid. I spoke with Kitty who had lived in the house and she supplied interior photos as well. The house was built in 1875 in a town called Seigersville (Now Orefield, PA.) On 309 it was lined with Chestnut trees and the front had Wisteria vines and Clematis on the side. Rot iron fences surrounded the property. They would pose on the front steps with a box camera. The same architect designed a house in Macungie, PA. The house was sold in 1995 for $77,500. It was abandoned for many years, as it was in the print and now is a vacant lot in Orefield, PA.
